It’s important for people who make stuff — especially writers who often work alone—to get together and shoot the breeze.

A Scratch of Writers* is exactly that—a free, casual gathering where creatives can connect. There are always free books and lots of seltzer.

A new Story Connection class began September 25 at the Carrboro ArtsCenter. The final performance on November 13 will feature a great lineup of hilarious and moving stories from students. More info here.

This class is for anyone who has a story to tell, wants to feel more comfortable in their body, and is ready to use their voice (or wants to be ready!). It's appropriate for all levels of storytelling experience, with beginners especially welcome, and it's a whole lot of FUN.
